How backordering.uk works

You search the droplist, place a free backorder, and leave a card on file. That is this site.
Catcher is Maydrop
maydrop.uk reads the daily drop list, arms a six-socket domain:create race on a Nominet tag, and logs every EPP result. backordering.uk does not speak EPP. It tells Maydrop which names are funded.
After a catch
One backorder: Stripe charges the sole fee and we start an IPS tag change to your registrar. Several backorders: 5–7 day private auction, then the winner pays and the tag moves. Unpaid names after the deadline go back on this site — they do not sit on a partner tag by default.
Partner tags (phase 2)
Other tag holders run a worker. They never paste EPP passwords into this site. The marketplace assigns which tags fire which names so we do not burn every tag’s failed-create quota on junk.
